. At its participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2025, Dubai Courts is showcasing two landmark initiatives that embody its commitment to developing integrated judicial and humanitarian services : Fi Al Shoufa and The Goodwill Courts. The two initiatives underscore Dubai Courts' commitment to showcasing innovative solutions that enhance access to justice for all segments of society. By merging technology with a human-centric approach, they embody the application of digital transformation to serve societal and humanitarian justice within a holistic and sustainable framework.. His Excellency Prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Dubai Courts, stated : Through our participation at GITEX, Dubai Courts aims to highlight the role of its initiatives in empowering various community groups to access justice with ease and convenience. 'Fi Al Shoufa' and 'The Goodwill Courts' epitomise the integration of technological innovation and the human dimension within our service ecosystem. Modern technologies are not an end in themselves but a means to serve people and streamline procedures to achieve swift justice—a principle that guides our work as part of our comprehensive digital transformation strategy.. His Excellency added : The 'Fi Al Shoufa' initiative provides an integrated suite of services to simplify procedures for senior citizens, People of Determination, and minors. Meanwhile, 'The Goodwill Courts' initiative embodies Dubai Courts' mission to foster social solidarity by assessing the cases of financially distressed individuals and finding amicable solutions through specialised committees. This helps alleviate financial and humanitarian burdens on customers and reinforces trust in the compassionate justice that underpins our operational framework.. The Fi Al Shoufa initiative provides a comprehensive service framework for its beneficiaries through accessible channels, including the call centre, Al Adheed government service centres, the official website, and Dubai Courts service centres, ensuring priority access and streamlined procedures. By the end of September 2025, a total of 1,547 transactions had been completed across the initiative's categories, which include senior citizens, People of Determination, and minors. This was achieved through a multi-channel service system featuring the Aoun, Shoor, Sanad, and Qareeb services, in addition to collaboration with The Goodwill Courts initiative.. Meanwhile, The Goodwill Courts initiative aims to alleviate the hardship of financially distressed and indebted individuals in enforcement cases by assessing their financial situation and settling their cases, thereby promoting humanitarian work in UAE society. Total contributions from 2018 to 2024 reached approximately AED 142.2 million, which helped stabilise families and secure the release of prisoners in a total of 1,316 cases. Furthermore, diligent efforts by the committee in negotiating with claimants led to a 60.2% reduction in the total value of original claims, alongside various other social contributions. In 2025, funds were approved for 123 cases involving claims of AED 40.6 million. Following negotiations by the committee with claimants, the claim values were reduced by a settlement rate exceeding 65% of the original total, with contributions amounting to AED 13,836,278.. The Goodwill Courts receives applications through the Customer Happiness Department, which refers them to sub-committees to study the cases and negotiate with the parties involved before submitting recommendations to the main committee for a final decision. Beneficiary categories include individuals convicted in personal status and civil lawsuits, recipients of financial and social benefits, divorced women, and widowed caregivers, in addition to senior citizens and People of Determination covered by the Fi Al Shoufa initiative.. Through its various community and digital initiatives, Dubai Courts reaffirms its unwavering commitment to strengthening Dubai's position as a global hub for digital justice by developing innovative solutions that combine justice with social solidarity and support a comprehensive digital transformation. The Courts is also working to expand the scope of its humanitarian initiatives to include proactive services tailored for the most vulnerable groups. This reflects Dubai Courts' vision to be a global model for sustainable justice and an institution that balances digital efficiency with human values, all within an institutional framework that places the customer and the community at the heart of its priorities.. . . .
