1.Child maintenance claim is filed against the father to oblige him to spend on his young child who has no other financial resource, until marriage in case of a daughter, or reaching an age where normally his counterparts are able to earn a living, in case of a male child, unless he is a student who successfully continues his education; to spend on an adult child for disability or any other reason, in case the same has no other financial resource; and to spend on a divorced or widow daughter who has no other financial resource or person responsible for spending on her, other than the father.
2.? Maintenance shall include food, cloth, housing, health care and service if the wife is housewife, as well as any other conjugal customary requirements.

3.? No claim shall be heard for father's maintenance on his children for a preceding period exceeding one year from the date of such judicial claim
4.? This service requires submission of a copy of marriage contract or divorce attestation document, in case the maintenance claim is filed for a previous period
5.Interested party may authorize an attorney registered in the Emirate of Dubai or a relative up to degree to represent it before the Court, and minors shall be represented by parent or guardian
