1.The cases which do not exceed one hundred thousand dirhams in worth, and counter cases, irrespective to their value, as well as common allocation cases will be registered as minor (partial) cases. 2.The cases which exceed more than one hundred thousand dirham in worth, and un-estimated valued cases, as well as real estate cases in-kind, what ?so-ever its value may be, are registered as major cases

1.The declaration shall be submitted, with copies thereof according to the number of litigants. The declaration shall contain the names, chosen domiciles of the plaintiff and the defendant, merits and actions. 2.Supporting exhibits shall be attached, with one copy submitted to the court, and other copies according to the number of litigants. If the exhibits are in English, a certified translation shall be attached thereto.

If the exhibits are in English, a certified translation shall be attached thereto. 3.The plaintiff, or its attorney, legal representative (e.g. guardian), the owner of the company or the director of the company, shall attend litigation. 4.A certified POA, or documents proving the legal representation, shall be submitted. 5.Legal fees shall be paid. 6.For labor actions, an employee shall obtain a letter of referral from the Ministry of Labor and a letter of referral from the relevant free zones, which letter shall be approved by the Ministry of Labor. Only the employee shall be exempted from the registration fees.

1.Exemption of fees Lawsuits, appeals and applications submitted by the labors or hires, in pursuant to the Federal law No (8) for 1980, with provision that the claim does not exceed (100,000) AED. Once the ruling is passed against opponent , the fees and expenses decided in ruling, shall be collected according to the judgment. | DHS |
